What Did Your 2024 Benzotriazole Actually Enter At?
The antidumping order on tolyltriazole and benzotriazole from China was continued on August 4, and no Chinese producer filed a word against it. The rate on the same two exporters has been 6.12 percent, then 128.88, and the preliminary answer for your March 2024 to February 2025 entries is 61.51.
On March 4 this year, one American company filed a substantive response defending the antidumping order on tolyltriazole and benzotriazole from China.
Nobody filed against it. No Chinese producer, no exporter, no importer.
That silence is procedural gold: with no respondent response, Commerce runs an expedited 120-day sunset review instead of a full one. It did, it published on May 19, and on August 4 the AD and CVD orders on your copper corrosion inhibitor were continued for another five years.
The renewal is the boring half. The expensive half is what the rate has been doing underneath it.
Four Reviews, Four Answers
One order, two mandatory respondents, and four periods of review that produced four different numbers (chart below).

Anhui Trust Chem, now collapsed with its Jiangsu and Nanjing affiliates, went 6.12%, then 11.58%, then 128.88%. Nantong Botao went 14.66%, 8.27%, 128.54%.
The 2023-2024 review is the one that moved. Both mandatory respondents landed within a third of a point of each other at roughly 129%, better than a tenfold jump on the prior period, and the separate rate for Gold Chemical came out at 128.76%.
Commerce's reasoning sits in an Issues and Decision Memorandum behind ACCESS, so we will report the rate and not the theory.
Then the 2024-2025 preliminary, published June 4, cut it roughly in half and split the two respondents apart again: 61.51% for Trust Chem, 86.96% for Botao, 73.75% for Gold Chemical and Chuzhou Kanghua.
